Green Newbie needs direction

Hello,

I have had an Acer Zeiv4 tablet for about a year that came with Windows 8. It is pretty lame with no keyboard. That and I've got a second tablet much better (it's Win 8.1) to play around with. Love my android Samsung phone and want to bring that to a tablet (minus the phone of course).

How would I go about replacing Windows 8 with Android on the Acer? Doable? Which version and which media would I need?

Any advice is welcome.

It is highly unlikely you would be able to find and Android Build that includes the necessary device drivers for the hardware in your tablet.
