Habit Droid: Habit-forming / consistency app

troffe

Newbie
Hey Guys! I just wrote a simple app named Habit Droid.

Habit Droid aims to address the biggest obstacle that busy individuals face in developing new habits: long-term consistency. It is based on the idea that because our phones are always with us, the phone is the best platform for consistency-based productivity software.

Here is a typical use case for Habit Droid:

1) The user inputs the habits he or she would like to develop. I.e. to go to the gym every weekday, and to study for a certification every Saturday.

2) Every day, Habit Droid reminds the user of the habits that he or she needs to enforce on that day.

3) The user then inputs whether he or she has enforced each habit on that day.

Habit Droid shows the user a graph representing the long-term history of each habit. It also provides a day-by-day breakdown of the user's history. These features will help the user track his or her consistency over the long-term.

This use case is based on my own struggles to improve my study habits.

Try it out! Hopefully it's useful to you. Give me any suggestions!

small advice: post some screenshots (also on your blog) so that we can take a quick look at it before downloading...

LOL I have a habit of forgetting things. This app is probably not going to help me. I would probably forget I put it on my phone. But it does sound like a promising app.
Does your app have an alarm to remind you to look at it at a certain time?

It has a reminder to input how good you've been into the app :p

It also had a reminder per habit.

All of these can be customized for different times. Try it out!
