Have we seen both versions of the Passion now?

Remember in the leaked 2.1 ROM we saw HTC code names of Passion and PassionC?
Well lets take a look at Engadgets gallery of the Nexus One which is supposed to be the HTC Passion
Google Phone / Nexus One exclusive photos - Engadget Galleries

Now lets take a look at the unlockr pics (this may take awhile to load for whatever reason)

Why is the branding different? Notice on the unlockr pics the HTC brand is on the top front of the phone with the Google brand on the silverish strip on the backside. On the Nexus there is no HTC branding and different Google branding on the back. Or are we looking at two different phones? As unlockr says one being the CDMA version. Or is the Nexus just another developer device?

It's looking to me that the Passion will be an HTC phone for Verizon and may end up with whatever name they decide to give it in the Droid line. The Nexus is a Google branded phone for T-Mobile, probably carried the Passion codename prior to naming because it's the same hardware set as the CDMA version, save for the radio of course. Would jive with the ROM containing the Passion and PassionC names. I'll bet T-Mobile decided to make this some special deal with Google for their version of the Passion. All about marketing, right?
