Just thought i'd introduce myself 
I'm getting my HTC Hero tomorrow, pretty damn excited as i've been using an iPhone for the past year, and can't wait to stop using it. As i had a jailbroken iPhone, tinkering and tweaking interests me a lot, so it's only natural I can't wait to get started with the Hero, especially considering its running a build of Linux. I've only been looking at this site for about 20 minutes and I can already see a thriving and in-depth community, so i'm excited to become a part of it.
One question i do have, that perhaps someone could help answer, I'm looking to 'unlock' my Hero when i get it tomorrow, so that i can use my O2 sim card, how would one go about doing so?
I've seen many advertisements with different fees, but surely there is a free solution to this?
Any advice or answers are greatly appreciated
