Help! Arnova 10b g3

Hi guys, I wonder if you could help me.
Just purchased the Arnova 10b g3 from HMV sale yesterday.
It's pertty easy to go travelling with but I am trying to find a firewear that I read I should have installed before I use it.

I downloaded it on to my computer then copy and passed it on the the document page of the of the Arnova however, nothing happens to the tablet.
The instructions saids it will pick up the update automatically but it hasn't.
Also, does anyone know if I need to download flash as well.
Any other advice would be MARVELOUS! I need to impress my husband on holiday comparing his ipad to my android.
