Help HELP: How to free up space on SD card?

My SD car is full to were the point I cant put music on my phone. I believe I barely have anything on my SD card that I am aware of, just a bunch of system folders. Does anybody know if any of these folders are necessary? How can I free up space and where is it all????

Use the app, DiskUsage, on the Play Store. You use this to see what exactly is taking up all the space in your sd card and can give you a better idea what you want to delete. You can also use it for internal storage. This app has helped me many times to pin point what is taking up so much storage. Hope it helps.

All those cache files at the top....tend to take up a lot of space.

The first thing is, how big is the card?

If it is a 2GB and you made one nandroid backup, then that may be what filled it up. I see the clockworkmod folder so the more apps you have, the bigger the backup is gonna be.

Just something I noticed, figured I'd throw it out there.

It is a 2GB card and it was the nandriod backups that were filling up my sd card.
