Help Help! Htc one m8 dual sim

I can't get my mobile hotspot to work on the Htc one m8 dual sim. As soon as I activate it(hotspot), the data connection disengages/disables. I'm using Tmobile prepaid as my carrier. It's definitely not the carrier as I tried it on Samsung note3 and hotspot worked fine.

Has anyone else had this happen? I've called HTC support but they said its a carrier issue.

I used to use my M8 as hotspot without problem, your carrier may have something to do with it, especially if after a factory reset you still can't use hotspot feature.
