Root HELP! New to Android. Bought Used Xoom that's not working right

Hello All, I was hoping some of you power users can help out an Android newb. I bought a used Xoom today, and the previous owner reportedly wiped it and set to factory defaults.
Here is what my "about tablet" info says:

Model Number: Xoom
Android Version: 4.2.2
Build Number: baked_stingray-userdebug 4.2.2 JDQ39 eng.baked.20130316.161243 test-keys
BAKED rom version:
baked_stingray_bb-8

Now that I have the tablet at home I have found there's some major software problems, and I don't know what the previous owner has done!
As you can see, they have the Baked ROM on there, There are no G Apps, the browser doesn't work, I'm getting the "Unfortunately, the Android keyboard (AOSP) isn't working" error, and there is no sound... so I've pretty much got a useless device.
Can someone give me some pointers for where to begin? I would really appreciate it.

Do you wish to keep your Xoom rooted? If not, you can return it to stock by unrooting it. If you'd like to keep it rooted and on a custom ROM, flashing a new one, cleanly, will help. It is tricky and you can cause some serious problems if you're new to Android.
The guides in here will help get you back to stock, which I would recommend (and it will completely wipe your device).

I think I will unroot the device to have a fresh start using OutofPhase's program he has so graciously posted below.

Thanks OutofPhase! Just what I needed. I will give it a try later today. Like I said, I'm totally new to Android (moved over from iOS), so if there anything I could screw up by doing something wrong, let me know.
 
Just make sure you use the right version software for you Xoom. If you post in that thread I will get notification and be able to help you if you need it.
