Root HELP!! No internet browser after KITKAT explosion 2.0 install

The Google icon will let me search like a browser but if i try to click a link it says "no app found to open URL" I installed chrome twice (after fresh install of the ROM) but it gave me some kinda Google has stopped error and it locks up my phone so I had to re-install the ROM all together twice. I'm not exactly new to modding as I have modded every phone I've had that I can remember but also far from a pro, but I do know its installed correctly and I've also searched for hours and cant find another person with this problem
Any ideas? or am I just missing something stupid that's usually right in front of my face ? Thanks in advance for any help guys

Chrome has so many "quirks". Have you tried installing Dolphin?

Thanks a lot man I'm loving dolphin so far. Still stumps me as to why I had no default browser after installing kitkat, I couldn't find another person in a similar situation either.
But again, I really appreciate the advice !

The KKE devs removed much of all stock.. Some needed to stay but oh well...

Chrome was originally in there maybe slayer took it out...but it can simply be added back in the rom

I had the same problem....installed dolphin browser....all is well
