Root HELP PLEASE!! Rooted L9 home screen loop issue

I looked all over and didnt find anything like this, so pardon me if i did miss it

I rooted my wifes l9, its stock with aparted used to partition her 8g card, link2sd plus and folder mount also in use as i did with my L70. Xposed installer and gravitybox installed also, same with my phone

Shes out of town for a while and as im not around her phone does this...

Boots normally, while at home screen, message pops up saying internal space at zero, remove apps to open space, message goes away, home screen refreshes, message pops up again, repeat, repeat, repeat

Before this all was well, over 300mb free space internal, phone was fine. Cant get her phone to chill the hell out and i have no clue what to do next

Thankfully shes not cussing me out, saying its not my fault, yea it is i did this lol

Help guys???

Hello metalaries,
Unfortunately the L9 only has something around about 1.80 GB of user usable storage. Not very much at all.
It doesn't take but a couple apps, some pics/video's and text messages to begin hogging up space on the L9.
I know you have Link2sd installed and setup, but in my experience... Link2sd doesn't work well on the L9 and rarely can you actually move any apps to the SD card.
One thing you could try with Link2sd is to go into the Link2sd apps /Settings/install location/ and change it from External to Automatic. Although this is only a temporary solution and you will still end up with the "Low Storage" error again soon as you add in more apps pics and etc...

What I would suggest is, installing the L9 recovery installer (installs a CWM based recovery) for locked bootloaders. Note: You cannot flash custom ROMs with this recovery version.
Repartition the sdcard back to normal without a secondary partition on the card.
Then boot the device into the L9 recovery and immediately make and choose the option to make a nandroid backup to the SD card. This step is important in case you get an error of "Encrypting Phone" after booting back in to the OS.

Then download and install the kumakan ROM (comes in an Aroma installer) for locked bootloaders. It's a stock modified ROM with an internal and external memory swap script and many other built in features... Like xposed framework and some module's.
This did wonders for my wife's L9 and will breath a new life into the device!
My L9 has a 16GB SD card installed and it sets that as the internal memory... So the L9 now has 16GB internal memory and the 1.80 GB then becomes the external memory.

Here are the the links to the L9 recovery installer -http://androidforums.com/optimus-l9-all-things-root/791293-guide-recovery-stock-l9-locked-bl.html

Hope this helps and if you have any questions or need any help feel free to ask!

Excellent info my friend, much appreciated
But how do i get her phone to calm down and stop reposting this error, as it wont let her do anything, the phone is spasing out posting conflicting messages and its having an identity crisis right now and knly thing she can do so far is open the settings menu

I assume everything you tell me to do, other than the sd reset of course, would be done while being connected to her laptop?
Is she able to boot into a safe or recovery mode to delete something?

I get what you're saying about lack of space but she didnt download anything new after i left, still had over 300mb.

I gotta find a version of this for my L70

Oookay she was able to unroot her phone by chance and now I'll be able to walk her through the awesome post you gave, thanks again!!

Yeah you can boot into safe mode and hopefully things will stop acting up!
Power off the device - Press and hold down the volume down (-) button and power on the device, just keep the volume down (-) button while the device powers on and it will boot into Safe mode.
Once in safe mode you can try install the L9 recovery installer is basically an app that installs a CWM based version and the Kumakan ROM is installed thought the recovery. So ther is no need to be connected to a PC for these steps.

You can also look at this thread and my 2nd post to see how to install Kumakan ROM - http://androidforums.com/optimus-l9-all-things-root/872581-kumakan-rom-installation.html

300mb is not a lot of space... That could be used up easily in just a couple of texts/SMS/pic messaging.

Patience on this one... Development for the L70 is currently slow and still in development and testing phases. I'm sure you'll see some stuff soon and hopefully with a swap script.

The device does need to be rooted to to install the L9 recovery installer and Kumakan ROM. I recommend just using Cydia impactor to root the device, instead of the once click method. Cydia doesn't install a foreign superuser app to the device and will root the L9 in less than 10 seconds but does require a PC. Then you just download and install SuperSU from the pkaystore are the rooting process is done.... Lime in the post I linked above.

I figured as much about the root but at the time it was the only sure way to get her phone back to normal, i had everything that was on her phone backed up before i started so nothing was lost

Again, you're awesome, I'll let you know when its all done, thanks bro
