Help Help! SD Card Full

I just started getting this error saying my SD Card is full... I've deleted a lot of apps and pics, but if I try to take a picture or download a wallpaper, it won't let me do it! WTF?

I know that technically, I don't have an SD Card in the first place, but my phone thinks I do... I don't know I'm thinking about getting a different phone anyway... Any recommendations?

The phone considers the part of the internal storage not reserved for apps to be a SD card. If you go to the storage part of settings or use a file browser, you get options to see 2 different partitions (or 3 if you're rooted), and your device considers one to be a "SD card" of sorts.

Have you tried restarting after you freed up memory?

Yep. Tried restarting a couple times. It's also a PITA because I have to recreate some of my widgets every time.

It looks like I don't have any space on my "SD card", but I do have space on my internal storage. So how do I move stuff from the SD card to the internal storage?

So, I used an app called All In One Toolbox to move some stuff from SD storage to internal phone storage, and that seems to have worked. It might also be what caused the problem in the first place because it encouraged me to move a lot of apps to the SD card... Hope this helps if anyone else had the same problem.

Apps with widgets don't like being on sd card (even this virtual one). As you had moved apps to sd - this may be why your widgets kept dissapearing whenever you rebooted. I would keep apps with widgets on internal phone memory.

I was aware of this but I was pretty sure the app would only suggest moving certain apps to the SD card... I'll have to check it again to make sure, though.

However, the app also has a function called "Clean up SD card" that went through and removed duplicates, files with nothing in them, corrupted files, etc., and that also freed up a good bit of space. It's a pretty cool (and free) app...

Did you manage to fix your problem.

Now I am getting insufficient space pop up when I try to update something.

Yes, I used All-in-One-Toolbox to move some apps from the SD card to the phone's internal storage, and also used the "Clean Up SD Card" function to free up more. So I don't have tons of free space, but I have enough to download stuff again.
