Help Help with Handscent sms

Am experimenting with this app and would really appreciate if someone could tell me if and how to disable the regular text message notifications so that when I receive texts I dont keep getting both notifications, Thanks in advance!

Open up the stock Messaging app and go to settings. Disable the display notifications box and this will solve the issue.
