Does it automatically switch back to a stock rom?
yes basically you will be installing the s-on file via PC36IMG file and then you will install a stock rom via the same file name. make sure that you delete the s-on file from the card or you will get the two files mixed up as they will be named the same.
just follow the guide step by step. it will unroot you and give you the stock rom and stock recovery.
I lost my phone this past weekend and got a new phone with 4.67 hboot 2.18.0001 on it how am i supposed to root ? can i roll back the update or something?

here you go:

there are three ways you can do it, so feel free to ask questions about them if you have any.
If the phone is s-on then the phones securities are turned on. You will only be able to change things in bootloader that are signed by HTC,so you can't update radios or switch recoveries that way
ever since i did the new way to root ur evo with 4.67 already on my phone stock
the signal keeps fluxing between 1x,3g,and 4g a LOT... i have s-on right now if that makes a difference... could anyone help me out?
