Hotmail to IMAP mail server switch need advice!!

Hi!

i'm using hotmail for a couple of years now. Everything is fine. I can access it via a simple browser in my pc, tablet or android phone.

As i'm about to lauch my website i want to have my own email feeling more secure if something happen with it... (try to reach someone at hotmail!!)

I want simply the same experience as hotmail. So it will go IMAP instead of POP3.

For accessing my mail i try web interface roundcube that seem ok but don't let me put image in the signature...

I checked with Gmail and hotmail but they can only forward their message to an other IMAP mail server...

I'm asking myself if it's possible to check email via web interface or the best is to have a software on my pc, one apps on my android phone (Galaxy s2) and one apps on my ipad...

It's best to do what works best for you - which may not be best for someone else.

I use GMail on my phones and Thunderbird in my computers.
