Root How Can I Stay On LTE at all times?

I get wonderful LTE reception all over town and about 50% of the time while I'm sitting at home. When its not on LTE it jumps between 3g and 4g+ and seems to only work on the 4g+ and not the 3g. Basically I just wanna be able to disable everything except LTE. A lot of times when I turn network on and off it will jump to LTE but other times its real stubborn.

I'm on BrokenOS 5.1.1 MetroPCS

How the hell are u getting 80 Mbps I don't even get that on WiFi only get about 30 Mbps hmmm click on results screen shot

dial *#*#4636#*#* in the network settings choose lte only

although on LTE only you will not be able to receive or make calls. you will have to disable it or choose another network to receive and make calls.
 
I just figured out how and was coming to edit post. I wish I would've seen your reply earlier. It would've saved me a few hours of tinkering with different settings. I used Nova launcher activities to dig in phone settings and found tester.
My zmax hasn't seen LTE in almost 24 hours. Even when driving into town. But ut now since i changed it when i set it back for calls it will find LTE now, weird. Im really curious how that all works

T-Mobile network is pretty quick. Also depends on where u live too. But for $60 u can't beat Unlimited LTE with no throttle. Even hotspot is free now and crazy fast. I even canceled my broadband Internet.

Sometimes, Lmao.. And that was a 300Mb ROM also.. 6 seconds flat, bout made me trip in mid stride trying to catch a bus! Couldn't believe it.. That was also when I was sidestepping the Boost Mobile data cap...
 
I download movies all day long. The other day I was hitting 6 Mbps on utorrent. Took me like 8 min to download a gig movie. I keep waiting for someone to step in and say something about all my traffic. I know there gonna put a stop to it sooner or later. I laugh everytime i see an at&t/t-mobile commercial bragging about offering 15 gigs a month. While im approching 100, It just doesn't seem fair
 
You do know if your on lte all the time on broken Os you will not get calls and won't be able to make calls

Get what fix?Aosp doesn't have lte over network. If you make a call it switches to h+. When the call is over it is back to lte. I don't have any problems with that where I live.

What general area you live at? I'm Central FL..
BTW - didn't know AOSP was flawed like that. Broken OS was doing nice..

I live in Panama City FL. I mean maybe if I cared enough I got probably get that and band 12 to work but I start school January 20th and development from me will be dead. Sorry pushing commits doesn't pay the bills.

Understandable and no hate involved. @Seraph08 was dealing with school as well and lots of ppl thought so about his Development (himself included) but ya never know.. You might surprise yourself! [emoji41]
Besides.. You wouldn't want ur name associated with incomplete projects.. Ppl like what you've released so far

You feel that broken LP is incomplete?
 
Only my understanding of the LTE/band issue.. I've never seen h+ on any devices so it may just be my ignorance due to being a Boost Mobile customer and location instead of metroPCS. But it seems like everyone else is getting the band12 whatever ("Enhanced LTE"?).. Only mention this cuz ppl want everything 100% on a custom build or just revert back to stock. Might be a good idea to implement at some time or to get on top of it before you get stuck with school stuff.. I know that spare time is virtually nonexistent for ppl actually trying for education too. So.. Props

Boost is Cdma which probably has a GSM option like Sprint. I could be wrong, but I think boost uses Sprint towers. You should really consider using MetroPCS Boost Mobile is awful. In my opinion
