How do you crop images for home or lockscreen??

I cannot figure this out...It gives me that stupid box to fit just a part of the image in which stretches the craps out of it and distorts it. The pics were taken at a high enough resolution to fit.
I downloaded the auto resize wallpaper app but it doesn't do the job...

ANYONE? This is so annoying. ?

go to gallery, choose pic, go to settings, set picture as check wallpaper instead of home and lock screen

seems to work differently depending on the type of picture it is.

It looks like for some reason it allow you to select wallpaper but doesn't actually change it...hmm
I did find that you have to reduce some pics to fit inside the box. here is the example (it looks like you won't be able to use the whole picture.

I hope it helped, I know it's kinda frustrating note being able to use the entire pic.
