I've been trying for almost 3 weeks to decide what tablet to buy with a birthday gift and think I've finally narrowed it down to the Nexus 7 and the Galaxy Tab 2. The only thing that stops me from getting the Nexus 7 is the seemingly higher incidence of hardware problems, bum batteries and detaching screens mostly, combined with seemingly less than optimal customer service from Google. Since I guess that probably more people write to customer review pages and forums when they are having problems than when everything is going well, here's my question:
Can anyone offer an insight into realistically what percent of the Nexus 7's sold actually have problems? And, if one does, is it usually a big problem to get Google to fix it within a reasonable length of time?
Thanks. I've learned so much from reading this forum!
