Help How save pics on SD?

If the phone has 5.x on it, apps are not allowed to save anything to the extSDcard unless they own that specific folder.

you can go into the camera/app settings and have it Default to the SDcard, but that is as far as you are going to get.

Other work arounds exist....
ie, you could create a Share folder on the SDcard with say "ES Explorer", and then use that to copy pix from elsewhere to the folder that 'ES Explorer' created...

or, you can use a file transfer protocol, like ASUS File Manager which is super neat for Media transfer via WiFi... if both devices are logged into the Same WiFi router, and both have "Shared Folders" set up, you can send pictures to the other device's Shared Folder.

* File Manager ASUS - Android Apps on Google Play

This is something that I do many times a day, to different PCs and Laptops and even a Cellphone.

Most photo/camera apps will have a default location set. The may or may not be able to be changed in the settings. That would depend on the app. If you let us know what device you have and what apps you are using, we could probably give you more specific answers.

If you just want to organize them after the fact, then any file manager should work for you ... Astro and X-plore are two good ones.
