How to "Clear All" notifications in Android 6.0 - Nexus 6p

Over the weekend I was bombarded by the Facebook notifications. In my older phone (running Lollipop) there was an option to "Clear All" notifications in top bar. Yesterday I searched phone and web and I could not find how to "Clear All" notifications in Marshmallow? It is annoying to clear each notification one by one.
And yes, I know I can turn off the FB notifications, but that is not the point, I want to see some of those notifications, I just want to have an option to clear it all with one push of a button.

Scroll down to the bottom of the list of notifications and there will be three horizonal bars on the bottom right. That will clear all. It ensures you've seen all the notifications, while preventing you from having to swipe each one.

Nope. I don't see it. For instance, now I have two notifications showing - I have some email and someone tagged me on FB. There is no need to scroll down, I see all notifications at once, however, I don't see horizontal bars. See screen shot.

Those three little offset horizontal bars on the lower right under the notifications. Tap on that to clear all.

Yes, those bars are there in the lower right corner of your screen shot.

OMG! How in the world did you even noticed those little bars? Wow! Thank you.
Wonder what is the logic of hiding it that well.
