I was in another forum i think for the inspire or evo, eh whatever it was samewhere on here, and i saw that someone mentioned an app that will give you push notifications like the iphone.
App is called Flow for Facebook (there is a free ad supported version or the paid no ad version for $1.60)
I have tried it out and it works (both on my inspire and captivate, 2.2, launcherpro plus). when someone posts on my wall I get a pop up like my husband does on his iphone.
Sorry if this was mentioned elsewhere here I did a quick search and also tried to find the original thread where it was mentioned but laziness has kicked in.
