I didn't get that at all when I flashed it recently.
You activated on stock right? It is just giving the error anyway? (Just so I am clear on the details).

You could try reflashing without clearing data and if that doesn't work a clean flash from scratch.

Im a total newb and I loaded MIUI on Saturday and didn't have that issue. I seem to remember someone stating something about some weird bug on a ROM flash and they reflashed and resolved the issue. Let me see if I can find the post.

I am going to use it as a pocket tablet and Wifi phone only.
