You should have an email address for your kindle account. Just email the file to that address and it converts to appropriate format for your kindle. Otherwise use Desktop kindle application and import it there. Then allow it to sync with your kindle.

theres different e-readers that you can use for those formats if you just dont feel like converting the files or just arent sure how to do it. i use the kindle app for some formats, and aldiko e reader for epubs and pdfs. i also use mobipocket creator to convert my stuff.

I use Calibre software on my laptop to convert the books from epub or pdf to mobi (kindle format). You'll want to make sure that when you click on "CONVERT" that you click on "MOBI Output" from the left column and delete the [PDOC] tag in the "Personal Doc tag" section. This will allow the book to show up under your books tab on your kindle. Otherwise, they'll show up in the docs.
