Help How to increase volume step and background noise filtering?

Hey guys, I couldn't find anything on this main thread about this topic. I'm running carbon rom with the newest overclock kernel and I've heard of some people being able to fix the low in-call volume by increasing the volume step to 60 and disabling background noise filtering. I have no idea how to go about these fixes. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This requires Root privileges.

I would start by searching Google and downloading "xposed installer" apk and installing that if you haven't already. And install it's framework.
Then search through for an app called XVolume and install that to change the volume steps.
Im unsure of your exact problem, but I wanted to increase overall volume on my phone so I installed SpeakerBooster. In play store look for "speakerbooster" app and in settings set to 100%. This helped me. Hope it helps you.
