Root How to over clock LG 2x?

I want to over clock my 2x but don't really know how. I know it can handle 1. 5ghz but i only want 1.0-1.3 ghz. I have setcpu and no luck. How is this possible! Lol

I've never been able to clock it over 1000mhz either for some reason.

Not that I need the extra speed on cm7

Install a kernel that allows it. Stock kernel and CM7 kernel don't.

I just got a g2x recently, and being dual core, compared to my old optimus m, im not sure i'll even need to OC for awhile.
