Help How to tether motorola quench xt3 to ubuntu 10.04?

hi,

I am a newbee linux user. I recently bought motorola quench xt3 with android. I want to tether it to my ubuntu 10.04 laptop.

I tried the tutorial here, but my device is not being listed when I use the command ./adb devices.

what should I do?
