Root How to use EVO's connection on other devices..?

Ok, help me out here, i thought that when you do the Toast/Nand method, that either this, or the Rom installed would unlock the router on the phone so you can share its internet connection without having to pay Sprint....am I missing something?

I want to share its connection for my iPad when in the car or not where wireless is avail.

Most people use a app from the market call wireless tether, it is not working right now with froyo 2.2. If you have anything less it would work after you download. Also take a look at pdanet for wired tether.

It does not work on mine. I have installed, and restarted. No go for me. Dont you have to change kernel also? My computer does not even get the ssid.

Nope, I'm not using anything other than Fresh and the version of Wifi Tether I linked you to.
