Google pushed Android 7.1 to a select number of devices last night. It has a new setting called Manage Storage which can help you clear out space on your phone through two methods.
One is manual, while the other is called smart storage. Smart storage automatically removes photos from your device after 30, 60, or 90 days according to the setting you specify.
