Hiya everyone-
I just joined this forum to get info, post questions and generally keep up with things in the Android world. I'm pretty much a long-time PC/Windows user with intermediate+ technical knowledge of that area of the computer world. I ventured into the Android world in December 2011 when my husband and I bought Samsung Galaxy S2 phones (AT&T). We just upgraded those phones to ICS 4.0.3 last month and so far so good (with a few minor issues, which I will be asking about shortly
).
So far I love Android - so much so that I just picked up an ASUS Tansformer Infinity (TF700T) and peripheral keyboard dock. I've never owned a tablet before, so it's fun to learn the new interface and also delve more deeply into the world of Android.
I have not rooted any of my devices yet, though I'm sure I have the techical savvy to do so at some point. Right now I'm just happy to play around and explore the differences between Android and Windows UIs.
I'm sure I will have plenty of questions - one or two come to mind right now which I will post in the appropriate forums. Thanks in advance for any advice you have for this Android "newbie".
Cheers,
~SKYYE~
