Root Htc Desire Hd upgradation

dear I have HTC DESIRE HD it has software installed 2.3.3
having korean language.I want to upgrade it and change the language to UK english.please help me how can i upgrade?

i would think you could re-select your language in settings,or by doing a factory reset. as for upgrade, gingerbread is as far as this phone went,with stock roms. if you wish to root,there are many custom roms of higher android versions you can try.

Sorry I was a bit unclear. You're phone is on gingerbread,so that's the top of the line with factory software. You'll need to root and run custom roms to upgrade any further.
