I understand where you're coming from, but do you remember the two holiday seasons when xbox 360 and ps3 were coming out? They were retailing for $400-500 and sold pre-release on ebay for like $1000-1350. I know people were desperate to get it for the holidays, but people love their tech and aren't rational when they can buy it early.
