Help HTC Inspire 4G - Mobile Network Greyed Out Also Check For Updates Does Nothing

I'm not sure what's going on... about two days ago, I lost service for my mobile network but wifi works just fine.

I can't send out texts/get them or get phone calls.

I go to Settings AT&T Software Update and click Check For Updates and it doesn't do anything. No confirmation boxes or anything, it just does nothing.

I go to Wireless & Networks and Mobile Networks is greyed out with "Connect to the Internet" written under it.

I have tried a Factory Reset, I tried turning Data Roaming on and removing the battery for at least five minutes.

Anyone ever fixed this issue? I also noticed I'm using the following versions:
HTC Sense: 2.1
Android: 2.3.3

However, I can't update any of these because as I said, checking for updates does nothing.. literally, nothing.

I noticed the forum I was moved to gets really low traffic =(

I have contacted them and they have no idea. I have AT&T so that's why I figured it was better off to ask the forum. They submitted my case to higher technical support and they should be contacting me.

Oh, sorry about that. I'll keep an eye on your thread. I'm subscribed to it. I'd like to know how it turns out
