HTC Inspire Battery Won't Charge

HELP! -- I keep getting these error messages, that say that I'm using too much power than my phone can charge. Meaning, by the time my phone has charged, I would have used up all the battery and more so. I finally got my phone charged by taking out the battery for 30 minutes and then putting it back in. How can I prevent this from happening again? I feel like it might have something to do with the new app that I use all the time, Viggle. It has been using up a lot of space. It has also been freezing up on me and glitching. Please help
Totally Confused,

If you think that viggle is the problem, just remove it and see if that helps.

I personally don't think that an app can cause charging problems.

My mom is taking me to Geek Squad on Friday. Hopefully I can just delete the app, and prevent me from spending crazy amounts of money.

I get that msg when using the car charger (cheap no name) and have the screen full bright and doing navigation on occasion...

uninstall the app and see what happens... it takes just a few min...
