My htc one is stuck trying to reboot and I don't know what to do about it. I downloaded the most recent software probably a month ago and everything was working just fine. I was using my Facebook app the other day and put the screen to sleep like I normally do to run an errand. When I picked the phone back up about 15 minutes later it was powered off and wouldn't turn back on. The battery was almost fully charged. After doing some research I found out how to enter into the fastboot menu (hold down power button and volume up). Since that time I have tried recovery, factory reset, etc., but nothing works. The phone powers down, then starts to reboot, get's to the HTC logo screen, then shuts down and tries to do it all over again. I also tried connecting my phone to my PC, but the PC doesn't recognize the device. I am all out of ideas and all my internet research is not helping. Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated!! The phone is a little over a year old and stock. I have not done anything to the device other than download some basic apps.

When you plug headphones into it, will it boot up? My old HTC One S did the same thing. When I plug headphones in. It boots right up. As soon as I unplug them. the phone freezes, and then gets stuck in a boot loop.
