Help htc one x - proximity sensor- battery- over heating

The proximity sensor is constantly on (until the phone dies), Phone is totally over heating and the battery lasts probably around an hour or so.

I have reset to factory a couple of times now with no avail.


Anyone any ideas..?

Do you have any apps that need/request access to the proximity sensor?

If you've factory reset to no avail and the issue persists, I think your only option is calling your carrier/HTC.
