I was going to put it on ebay first but a few people told me they wanted a first crack at it here. I guess they wanted a cheaper price. With the exception of a couple of people, most have been very friendly here and it was a great forum to post in.

Edit: It is now up for sale on ebay.
 
yep yep, but i wonder how would it be if they had partner up....bet that would be something.
 
im assuming it can since we have the option in icarus to change apn from metro to cricket, but the only thing is the ESN # would they activate it...but you can always call and give them the ESN number and they can check and see if it can be activated with there service.

The ESN just registers the phone to the user.

you should also put RESERVE price on it also, just in case the phone didnt sell for what you atleast wanted for it. But if you had put icarus on in it might get extra value on it.

That is a good idea. I would need to fix it first.

I'll admit I didn't want to have to do that though. There are so many people around here who get bored and flash their phone just for the fun of it. I thought someone would jump on it just to have a phone to play with in their spare time.
 
Just flashed Icarus 1.0 Cricket onto the Cricket Ascend and fixed the USB mounting issue. Everything is good to go.
 
The Ascend wouldn't USB mount to a PC before.

Put the Ascend's SD card in my Epic and I mounted the Epic to the PC. Copied the Icarus zip to the SD card. Put the SD card back into the Ascend and flashed Icarus. Now the Ascend USB mounts to a PC.

There was nothing wrong with the SD card like someone else had suggested.

Oh ok you fixed your PC's issue with your Ascend gotcha lol

the way its worded you fixed a USB issue in ICARUS ;)
 
Not my intention for it to sound that way. The phone wouldn't mount because it didn't have a ROM on it.

Xyro gets complete credit for suggesting the SD card idea.
