Help [Huawei Ascend D1] Only shows 4GB instead of 16GB SD

Hi all,

I have a Huawei Ascend D1 that has an internal memory of 8GB. I bought a Ridata SD Card Class 10.

When I put in the SD Card and go to Settings> Storage, it shows that I have 14.64GB available.

But, when I go to Settings>Apps>On SD Card, it shows only 4Gb available and all my apps data are still stored on the internal memory. Even tho I have moved the apps that can be moved to the SD. It seems like I can't move anything on my SD so it's deemed useless :(

I have tried formatting the card both on the PC and phone, still the same. It's already on FAT32, still the same.

Please help. :(

The way it appears in that list is confusing.
You have RAM
You have storage
You have SD storage and the list poorly reflects this.
If you have 16 gig SD card you will not actually have 16 gigs. Just like on a PC.

Use your USB cable to load up your SD card. For example your Android/Play Music player will see and play the SD card music.

Very few apps are moveable to SD card. Samsung announced they have plans to change that
