I accidentally got my samsung galaxey rush phone wet

I have dried it and it comes on and even rings but the screen won't light up which means I don't have access to touch screen. I heard about the rice and did that for 7 hours..still same problem. Can anyone help me?

Hi Shellie, and welcome to AF,

Sorry to hear of your problem. The best I can suggest is to try the rice for longer - a couple of days rather than a few hours. And remove the battery if possible, turn off in any event, because if there is any moisture left then current is not going to help at all.

If that doesn't fix it, you can try getting the hardware repaired, but you'll have no warranty for moisture damage. There can't be any promises though, because the corrosion can be insidious. Just try the rice for longer and let's hope.
