Help I feel like throwing my phone against a wall.

Lurker
Ever since the Lollipop update from Verizon, my phone has been absolute garbage. Calls lag and take 10 seconds to load/hang up, apps lag terribly, freezes, overheats, terrible battery life....I could keep going and going.

I used to absolutely love the LG G2 but after this crap, I will not use LG again. The fact that this hasn't been addressed is unreal.

Does anyone have any ideas to fix this without restoring? I don't feel like setting everything up again.

Please help.

I hated the Lollipop update, as I had a lot of bugs as well and didn't like that a few features that I liked were no longer there. I rolled my G2 all the way back to the original Jellybean version to reroot. Doing so also got rid of 100% of my bugs. The phone is working perfectly again, with the exception of not being able to use Google Wallet due to that security thing back with Jellybean.

What did you do to roll it back? Restore to factory settings or flash stock rom?

I used the LG Flash Tool PC program to flash the original OTA file back to the phone and wipe the phone. I then rooted the phone with the first root method that originally came out. I primarily wanted to go back to rooting my phone in order to save some money. Getting rid of all the bugs was just a bonus for me.

I would like to roll it up to the OTA Kit Kat so I can get Wallet working again. But the phone is working so well with no bugs on Jelly Bean, I'm leaving it as it is.

I'm still on 4.2.2 because the updates didn't have any new features. My phone runs fine. I've got five more months on my contract. Then what?
