Help I have a F6 and would like to copy my user data.

If I copied my data partition and copied and pasted it over my new partition would I have all my data back after I rebooted. For example if I copied /data and pasted into my new ROM's /data would I have my old data back without backing up? Because right now I have a issue mounting SD-Ext.

Well if you copy data somewhere and copy it back that is backing up, after a fashion.

It's not completely clear to me what you want to do. The words "new ROM" are worrying though, because the data partition contains system settings which you definitely do not want to copy between different ROMs. So if you are planning on changing ROMs then no, that's not the thing to do. Titanium Backup is your friend in that case.
