I finally got a s3 after asking a few questions in my previous thread http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-s3/643355-possible-new-s3-owner.html. i got the 32gig model, my first few days of playing about with the phone have given me a few thinks im not impressed with and hopping you all could help with.

When i start to watch a film and i hit the home button to close it down, when i open the film again to continue watching like 20 min later by pressing and holding the home button the film starts from the beginning, this also happens with games. what's the way round this? my 4s was great for multitasking.

I bought the phone second hand(10 weeks old) the phone has vodafone apps on it which i cant remove. my sim card(o2) worked in it no probs now i know that means its unlocked. if i was to restore the phone would i lose the unlock and will it remove the voda apps?

i have a avg when i go into task killer and kill all apps, then come out off task killer and back in all apps are open again but its apps that iv not used like ebay, bluetooth share, email and loads more. like now it sats 48 apps running just killed them all and 23 are running again, why is this? i want to free up as much memory as i can.

I have a parrot pki9200 in my car use it bluetooth to stream music to my radio, with my 4s it worked spot on but with the s3 i will be playing a song then it will just cut out but the song is still playing on the s3 and the parrot still shows as being connected to the phone. i have to stop the song on the phone and wait 20 sec then press play again and all is ok. It does this randomly it can play 20 songs with no issues or it will play half a song then stop.

sorry to carry on with myself and thank you

1. Do not bother killing apps. It will not affect anything, but make them start mnuch slower.
2. If by restoring the phone you mean doing a hard reset, then no, the voda apps will not disapear and the lock will not be activated. Instead, think about flashing an unbranded firmware that will not have any carrier apps.

An alternative to flashing an unbranded rom, is rooting, gaining super user access to the file system, giving you permission to remove those pesky apps (which you can't do at the moment because you don't have the required level of user access as defined by the apps properties)

Either way, once you know who your doing, the physical process of doing it only takes a few minutes of prep and then a few more to get it done. (but a lot of research if you're new to this kind of thing)
