I'M DONE!! Who's with me?!

As you may or may not have read in other threads, my frustration with this P.O.S. phone has reached a boiling point!! On May 31st (or shortly after), I will be switching back to Virgin Mobile to get the HTC (a trusted brand) Evo V 4G!! :D

Somewhere in the future, ZTE may prove to be a worthy choice, but right now they seem to have too many bugs in their devices. For anyone that has been experiencing the same issues that I have, such as the freezing & random rebooting or any other problems, I suggest that you make that switch, too, or stay with Boost and get the HTC Evo Design 4G (also coming out this week).

Im with you man. Tired of this phone. This particular forum. And boost. They all have been a headache.

HTC + VM= :D

Nothing more frustrating than this phone freezing when ever the hell it wants to lol. I'm dying to get the Note to be honest, but I'll check out the new evo design.

I think you've got bad handsets. I've had mine for about 1.5 months and have had quite literally zero issues with the phone itself. I had an issue with data staying at high speeds but with a prl switch that hump has passed me.

As for the forums, I have found everyone here extremely helpful. This is the place where I came and learned about switching my prl and many other things. The fellow users of this forum have been very helpful making the most out of my handset.

Your issues are isolated and I'm not sure if flaming this forum about it is the most reputable idea.

Well, consider yourself one of the lucky ones then.

Indeed. I ordered the design, I can't wait to throw this piece of junk phone away.

Had mine since November.. had a few problems the one day then went away ( like last week).. it seems like it might last another year or so...

I don't want to speak for anyone else, but I don't think the forum was flamed-I think it's a frustration with the phone. Those who have been on this forum know I've had problems, too. 3 upgrades. Sent the phone back twice. It was finally replaced, and the new one is a little better. Only force closes once a week. Of course, I'm thankful to have two tablets, so I don't use the phone as heavily as I used to. Im sure that has something to do with the improved performance.
I'm a fan of the no-contract, and will likely stay with Boost because of the price, despite my disappointment in their absolute flipping off of their customers by ignoring, intentinally, the issues with this phone.
But, I wouldn't have another ZTE up my arse if I had room for South America....

I have a similar story, and I think it's important for prospective buyers to hear it:

- Bought the phone in November. Immediately had problems, reboots, etc.
- Updated to B08c, problems persist. GPS sometimes doesn't turn on. Reboots galore. So many dropped/lost/missed calls due to this.
- Rooted, unrooted, stock, stock updated... nothing works.
- Sent the phone back for replacement, was without a phone for 4 days, bought a cheap temp phone, waited 4 more days
- Received replacement, and it's as if they did NOTHING. Same problems. Same issues.

With a sample size of two, one cannot make generalizations, but from my point of view, this phone is trash. If you rely on your phone in the very least, DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE.

Maybe you can help me. Where, EXACTLY, did I say this forum is to blame?

Where did I say people don't try to help (as you obviously are, right)?

Who is blaming the forum?! We are (at least, I was) talking about the PHONE!!! I have absolutely NOTHING against the this forum.

The Warp is a really nice handset and all, but I agree with the bugs, and the issues, I have had them in the past, rooted it, started modding it a bit, and stopped having those issues for the most part, besides the issues it is a really good phone, BUT I have to agree, I am also switching to Virgin Mobile's Evo V 4G :D I have wanted the Evo 3D almost every since it came out, but won't switch to contract, I am glad that I can now get the Evo 3D (Evo V 4G) but there are NO 4G towers where I live -_- but still, good bye ZTE, sorry, but you still have a long ways before getting near HTC

ZTE is nit the greatest company nor will it ever nobody should blame this forum or anyone on it a phone is only as.smart as its user ZTE did a.bad.job putting this phone together but there are people who help and want to make it better me included ROMs and im hoping we will see cm7 soon

I was using the warp this morning :/ but now I have a brand new galaxy nexus lte (sprint)

And I look like this :D

When people say the Warp is great, except for the idiosyncracy of force closing once a day, it makes me smile. I once had a girlfriend who was awesome - good looking, smart, funny. But, she cheated on me at least once a day...

I'm going to give ZTE a chance to repair or replace my phone and then decide from there depending on how that goes.

I really like my Warp when it isn't acting possessed.

I guess a few people here & there have been lucky with the ZTE Warp, but it seems to me that the majority of folks have had problems with this phone.

And let me just say, for the record, I AM NOT and NEVER HAVE BEEN against this forum. As a matter of fact, I have used this place to do any research and homework on the Android devices that have purchased so far.

Let me also add that the majority also Rooted there warp and they are the majority that have had problems, not all but most.(some from a bad batch)
And it has been said before that the warp does not do well with root is it the phone itself or the programs used to root? that i can not answer but i can say my phone my kids, three family members outside my home and 2 coworkers have the warp and the only one with problems and has sent it back two times with one replacement is my coworker who roots it and yet wont come to terms that it could be the problem.I have been after him to go stock for just a week and see what happens but he wont.
Now around the Holidays after this unit is a year old i will upgrade to what ever is new with boost and then root this just to see what gives then give it away or use it as a backup mp3 player for out on the kayak.
