I'm looking for an app that serves as both a call recorder, and a regular voice recorder..

What would y'all recommend? I see tons of them on AppBrain, but it doesn't seem that any of them do both things, and the few that do have ridiculous time limits o the records like 2-4 minutes.

How long would you want to record the conversation for? you are aware its illegal to do so without the consent of the other party?

wow darwin, i followed your link and had to bookmark that on the spot. sooo many questions answered right there.

Tasker can do this by using the record audio task where you can select the source (Microphone, incomming call, outgoing call, call). Just tested it by creating a widget for microphone and one for Call. Downside is it looks like you'll need a third widget for a Record Audio Stop task as I didn't see anything about toggling the function. Also, "time limit" is only limited by the size of your SD card.

Texas is a one party consent state. Really, I'd like one with no set limit, just record until I turn it off or it runs out of the alotted memory block.

I'll have to play around with that tomorrow, thank you!
