Help Inspire bootup issues! PLEASE HELP!!

Hi HTC inspire users,
I have a HTC inspire 4g, and a few weeks ago(just found this forum), my phone, to my belief, updated by it self over night. The next morning I found my phone not working at all, and was not able to start up. However, the screen was black and still on. I freaked out, and asked for help on another forum (not phone related forum), and was told to turn off, and factory reset. I did this after removing the SD card so my personal data wasnt wiped. After I did the Factory reset, my phone encountered a boot restart???, where the HTC logo and the ATT logo would show up, but would keep showing these two logos after a brief restart of the phone. It would not show the actual home screen which made it useless.

Ive been told to do a recovery from the menu by holding down the volume button while turning on the device. Even doing so my phone will not work.

Is there Any way possible to make the phone work again?

I am having the same issues with my Inspire. I have had mine since last September and this is the first major issue I have had with it. I was on facebook this morning before I left for work and everything was working fine. I get to work 20 minutes later and I have the black screen with the green light lit up. I took the battery out and turned the phone back on and have continued the get the same thing you are. I really hope there is a solution.
