Root [International] Mirroring an app that has mirroring disabled

Hi all,

I'm in Australia and have just discovered the world of 'mirroring'. Pay TV down here offers a free app to all subscribers but when you try to launch the app whilst mirroring it blocks it; something about retransmitting the signal making it illegal.

I have an older Galaxy phone which isn't doing anything, and i'm wondering if i root the old phone are there any apps or methods that will trick the Pay TV app in to mirroring to my TV?

I'm new to 'rooting', but i consider myself pretty handy with this sort of techy stuff so any help would be much appreciated.

I'm afraid that mirroring isn't something I've used personally so on that front I can't help much :-( however,I can recommend that you find the root forum for the phone you have as presumably it's not an s4 (you said it was an old phone, but then s4 is a yeae old now, so I am just making a guess) if you tell us the make and model of phone we can get someone to direct you to the appropriate forum
