Root [International Tegra 3] Temporary root for htc one x?

Hey, I have been looking into temp rooting my htc one x because i want to change the font and the only way to do it is to root my phone. I read a bit about both permanent and temporary rooting and permanent rooting seems like you have to know exactly what you are doing so I'm choosing to temporary root. All i want to do is change the font. Permanent rooting is not an option for me.

If i temporary root my phone, change the font and reboot it, will the font go back to default or will it stay as I changed it?

Is temporary rooting safer than permanent rooting? Is the bricking hazard the same for both?

Once you brick a phone, is it un-repairable?

Is it worth it? (As far as i know it is but i would like more opinions)

Rooting is simply if you just follow the steps. Try xda and you'll get all the help you need. I'm currently rooted on my One X with Viper XL.

Sometimes rooting methods can be different depending on what carrier you are with. If you could possibly let us know what carrier you are with, we can move this to a more appropriate location so other people here can better assist you

I had my one x for just a week before I root it. For some people, including me, you gain better options with root. But others may disagree. As long as you follow the procedure, you should be ok. Just get as many information as you can before you decide to root it.
