Hi, I just got my HTC Desire the other day and I'm looking for a family friendly internet filter (aka. Web protection, Net safety, internet security) app for my phone that will block any mature content from the devices browser. At the moment I can't find anything- but I know these forums are the best on the web- so, if a net family filter android app exists, I know someone on here will be able to tell me about it! :D
Many thanks!

It sucks that there are no current web filters for the Android and I hope one is developed soon. In the meantime you can lock access to the browser, setting up a password to access it. You could just give the password to a trusted friend (or your spouse) and just ask them for the password when there is something you want to get on the internet for.

I know this sounds really limiting but it is worth it if you are pursuing purity (honoring God, your body, and your current/future wife). There are a few different options available to App locks so find one that fits. Here are some links to a couple of them:

I need clarification on something, can this app (App Safe) in fact make it to where the internet cannot be used at all unless the password is entered?
