Help Is it possible to fix my HD ?

unfortunately i lost the sim cover / antennae for my phone, and didnt replace it promptly , as a result i had not reception so made a temporary antennae which worked fine but at some point i manged to catch one of the internal gold contacts and actually pull it off the board - so even if i get a new cover it wont help with reception as the circuit will not be complete.

I think the only thing i can do is get a new board , but cant find one anywhere and thats before trying to fit it which looks like a challenge itself.

I love my HD so really want to fix it, can anyone offer any advice.

I also need a new volume rocker but i think i can handle that bit : )

any help much appreciated - hopefully i explained well enough.

Can you not put a dab of solder where the contact was?

I was thinking it might come down to something like that.

Im not sure though, i think it goes through the board and is soldered on the back so i would need to take it apart anyway.

I will try that though if i cant get the part, thanks Dave
