Help Is my phone dead?

Jared27

Lurker
I dropped my phone into a hot tub and promptly put it in a bag of rice. I didn't try to turn it on because I know not to do that. Before I put it in the bag of rice, however, I did notice it flash a red light on the notification light place. I left it in the bag for 1 week, and when I took it out I connected it to my charger. The green notification light came on for a few seconds and then extinguished. When I connect it to my computer it doesn't register. But each time I connect it to a power source the same green light turns on.
So what's wrong? Can I fix it? It's obviously still sort of alive, right?
Edit: It's a droid razr maxx hd

Try, with the USB plugged in, The power and volume up pressed together for 45 seconds. If no try the same with power and volume down and then all three power+volume up+volume down. Again all for 45 seconds each. This will make the system think the battery were disconnected and force a reboot. I have found with this phone all three together is like a punt reboot.
