Is the Passion for the ladies?

Just a thought...the Droid has been labeled in many places as a man's phone (not that women aren't welcome to it :D). The ad campaign has been masculine, the look of the device is manly, hell....the name even references Star Wars.
On the other hand, the mysterious Passion has a feminine name. It will supposedly have the "prettier" Sense UI interface.
These devices both are at the top of the rung for Android phones. If they were at different carriers they would be competing for the same buyers. Maybe Verizon is attempting to get a majority of both male and female users by targeting them individually but on the same level.
Oh well, just speculation. Only time will tell.

Initially, my friendly neighborhood VZ manager told me the eris was a womans phone. even funnier, he has it now..... I personally think that phone might be too large for a woman, they like it to fit in that little pouch in their purse. (that's what she said) good observation though. we'll see. i don't mind using a woman's phone, snapdragon and all. i'm flexible.

to be honest. i think youre mistaken.
The eris (although underpowered compared to the droid) is the lady's phone. "ERIS was the goddess or spirit (daimona) of strife, discord, contention and rivalry."

Not to offend any men that got the eris or females that got the droid...it doesnt really matter...its just a name...

anyways....i think the passion is not going to be the name of the rumored passion....just as sholes was the codename for the droid...the passion is the codename for the htc hd2 android phone equivalent...so you cant call it a woman's phone because of its name because that probably wont be the name of it (if and when it ever comes out)...

either way...whatever its called...if it IS what it is rumored to be...i'll get it no matter what name it is given....haha

I am going to say no. Especially IF this thing's rumored spec's are true.
The Passion/Dragon is going to be a BIG BOY TOY.

Just remember, James Brown said it best, "Its a Man's World, its a Man's World,"

"Man thinks about a little baby girls and a baby boys
Man makes then happy 'cause man makes them toys"

To me, the Motorola Calgary is targeting teens, & women with that device.
But thats another topic, IN ANOTHER Thread. ;)

I agree somewhat w/what cdmta said about the eris.

My girl loves how it looks, and size...but then again, she loves the Moto Droid too!
Girls can play with Transformers if they want to! LoL! :P

I think the Droid is a "man's" phone because of the design which probably has more to do with Motorola trying to rush it out then trying to appeal to a certain sex.
