Issues copying music on mac to ext SD card

well since your lacking details i have to guess
If you mean your Mac does not see you device when connected, there is 2 options
1. if your mac is running 10.6.8 or older you can download Android File Transfer, than connect your S3 to your mac pull down the notification bar and click connect as and change to PTP mode and you should see your phone and card
2. if your have 10.7.0 or higher use Samsung Kies, for Kies you have to change it back to MTP mode, Samsung Kies is like iTunes, so you can import songs and movies to your "library" than move them to the device, if your prefer the drag and drop and seeing all the folders, than when you connect to Samsung Kies you should see the summary area showing memory use on the internal and external drive click the folder beside the drive you want and it will now look like a finder window where you can drag and drop files
